Work Description
Rehabilitation Works of Evaporator Tube Bundles and modification of Vacuum System
Scope of Work
- Removal and Replacement of Brine Pipes, Sea Water Pipes, Water boxes, Demisters & Manhole Covers.
- Tube Bundles Demolishing & Replacement.
- Removal and Replacement of: Vent Pipes, Tube Sheets Necks, Tube Support Plates and Intermediate Tube Sheets.
- Insertion & Expanding of 53,200 nos. of 90/10 Cu.Ni. Tubes (O.D 19 mm x 25000 mm length.) with subsequent
Leakage Test using Pressure Air. - Cleaning, Rust Removal, Sandblasting, & Coating Works.
- Lining Works ( mounting SS lining material on evaporated internal surface above Demister for Corrosion Protection
after cleaning ) - Modification of Evaporator Venting & Vacuum System, Brine Gate Cover and inspection of Brine Heater Tubes.
- Replacement of Pump Suction & Discharge Valves and Leakage Test.
- All related Elect. & Instrumentation Works.
